Windows Server 2025 Datacenter
The primary difference between Windows Server 2025 and Windows Server 2025 Datacenter lies in the number of virtual machines (VOSEs) you can run, with the Datacenter edition allowing for unlimited virtual instances while the Standard edition is restricted to a limited number, typically two; additionally, the Datacenter edition provides access to advanced features like Shielded Virtual Machines, Storage Spaces Direct, and full functionality of Storage Replica, which are either limited or not available in the Standard edition.
